Product Details
Short earflaps, without short rows. Those yellow stripes are “two rounds in contrast color” stripes. Simple, but effective.
I suppose you could say I made these up out of my need to keep my ears warm. The Whole Ear. and my senseless hatred of short rows. You naturally begin wondering what other options are available for making a dip in stockinette stitch!
You will need 1 (1, 2) balls of the main color, and about 8 yards of the contrast color. This is the perfect place to use scraps of a favorite multicolor yarn, or whatever odd half balls you have lying about.
(oh - and for those who might have missed the joke, “pull” refers to the fact that one generally grabs a toque beside their ears to give it a firm tug on. I know I often wished, out in the winter cold, that I could somehow make the pulled out tips of the toque stay down for longer than a couple seconds. This toque does!)
