Product Details
A lovely spike stitch pattern in three colours adorns this cowl. The crunchy texture and ever-changing colour sequences give lots of visual interest and make the pattern fun to work.
The pattern is much easier to work than it looks! (it’s mostly single crochet (UK: double crochet) stitches. There aren’t loads of ends to work in once you’ve finished because the non-working yarns are just carried up the side of the work until they are needed again.
This is a good stash-busting project too: You’ll need about 3 balls of DK weight yarn, plus a little bit extra in another colour for the edging. The exact amounts of yarn are: 131 yds/120 m DK weight yarn in each of 3 colours: A, B and C; 25 yds/23 m DK weight yarn in colour D for edging.
The instructions are fully written out and there is a chart too. You’ll also find hints and tips along the way.
