This is a commuter trip inspired pattern :)
I'm going to work by bus, passing the countryside, seeing hares in the morning and deers in the evening.
Last time, when the sun came out in the afternoon, you could see the roe deers coming out of the forest, sitting in the grass enjoying the sun as much as we do.
I had to put this little scenery on a beanie.
It is completely knitted in 4-ply sock yarn. You won't need much. Some leftovers will be enough.
Alternatively you can also use Acrylic or Merino yarn of similar weight and yardage.
And it has at most two colors in one round. So it is easier to knit than you think!
For bigger heads use 5-ply yarn (e.g. Buttinette Madeleine Merino) or go up one or two needle sizes or do both.
It starts with a typical fair isle color ribbing, followed by a little daisy peerie (border pattern). Then come the sitting roe deers. There are three different ones. One being a fawn. In the background you can see the forest and above is the blue
