Product Details
Romy is knit in the round from the bottom up using a cable pattern throughout.
SKILL LEVEL Intermediate – basic cables, knitting in the round, simple decreases and increases and finishing.
TO FIT SIZE Head circumference 18 (20, 22, 24) inches / 46 (51, 56, 61) cm.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Brim circumference unstretched 15 ¼ (17 ½, 19 ¾, 21 ¾) inches / 38.5 (44.5, 50, 55) cm.
YARN Approximately 160 (180, 205, 225) yards / 145 (165, 185, 205) metres of DK weight yarn with the following knitting gauge. Shown in Merino Blend DK – 100% Pure New Wool, shade 41 by King Cole – 123yds / 112m per 50g ball.
GAUGE 22 sts and 28 rnds = 4 inches / 10 cm in St st knit in the round. 20 sts = 3 inches / 7.5 cm in cable stitch pattern knit in the round.
NEEDLES AND NOTIONS Size 4mm (US6) circular needle. Adjust needle size to get the correct gauge if necessary. Stitch marker, cable needle and tapestry needle.
