Rookwood Pottery is the inspiration behind this shawl and the colors of yarn used here. With graceful curving lines, the lace edge evokes a simple elegance. The shawl is worked from the bottom up and is shaped with short rows in garter stitch.
The pattern includes both charts and fully written instructions. This pattern has been professionally tech edited by Corrina Ferguson.

Needles US 5 (3.75 mm), 40 in or longer circular needles US 7 (4.5 mm), 40 in or longer circular needles
Gauge 17 sts and 26 rows garter stitch on smaller needles, after blocking.
Finished Size 51 inches (129.5 cm) wingspan and 10 inches (25 cm) deep.
Necessary Skills basic knitting skills, knit 2 together, slip slip knit, knit and purl through the back loop, yarn over.
