I have long been fascinated with the beautiful medallion ceiling lighting plates, with their detailed scroll work. The center of this motif reminds me of those splendid plates.
This design ( center photo) uses 3 skeins of 3 different colors of Koigu KPM and 1 skein of 1 color of a Koigu KPPPM. It is embellshed with 12 buttons and 7 beads of different sizes and colors. It could be crocheted in so many different types of fingering weight yarn, requiring 700 yds. Raid your button and bead boxes to embellsh this piece to make it one of a kind!
