What you'll need
Product Details
Thick and warm mittens to keep your hands cosy. The stitch pattern is reminiscent of the distinct pinnate leaves of the Rowan tree. Rowan trees display the most vibrant autumn colours, and the name Rowan is thought to come from the proto-Germanic word raudnian, which means “getting red”. What better name for a pair of mittens that will keep you warm on those chilly autumn days!
The sizes are Women's S, M and L, for hands with a circumference of about 17.5, 19 and 20.5cm / 6 ⅞, 7½ and 8“.
The pattern is for aran weight yarn.
The pattern is both fully written and fully charted - the choice is yours!
How about a Rowan Cowl to go with the mittens? Both patterns are also part of the Rowan eBook and The Almond Collection.
