Product Details
Rue Montaigne is a crescent shaped shawl worked in three different sections. Worked from top down, the shawl starts with a garter tab . Then, a section of slopes/ridges give an interesting texture. This section of the shawl, depending on how you wear it, will sit nicely on the back of your neck like a shawl collar. Once this section is completed an I cord bind off marks the end of this section. Following the slopes section, a plain stockinette stitch area appears from underneath and later will be embroidered with flowers, as many as you want. Another I cord bind off to finalize this section. As a third section, an elegant very feminine lace is added . And to conclude the construction of the shawl, a hem with bubbles. The bubbles look like a delicate pearl necklace.
