Hello there!
This design is inspired by Ruil trees found just in the South of Chile, sadly in extreme danger of extinction due to forest fires and illegal felling.
It was thought of as a bike bag or saddlebag because is one way we could contribute to stopping climate change and reducing our carbon footprint.
Of course, you could use as you desire, make it a drawstring bag, a clutch or a tote, it's a very versatile design and I provide the extended pattern so you can do it as big as you want.
You will need 80 gr of each color of cotton yarn (whatever thickness because the size is not that strict) if you make the same repetition as I did, a couple of buttons and some fabric for the lining.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did and share your finished projects with me!
Big hugs,
Pilar!
