Product Details

The sakura has become the emblem of the samurai, whose life was "as ephemeral as the cherry blossom season". This flower doesn't live more than a week. Its fall at its nicest symbolizes the man at at the top of his evolution who find redemption and freedom from the world. This symbol of the life's fragility also represents the joy of flowering and rebirth.

This philosophy mixing Buddhism and budo has also shaped my private life. In everyday life but also in my practice of Iaido, the living art of the Japanese sword.

It's this journey that led me to create Sakuragari, a shawl looking like an initiatory journey along cherry trees alleys.
