ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Salt Water Taffy Cowl evokes the shape and twist of old-fashioned pulled salt water taffy candies all wrapped up and twisted at the ends. Pattern uses simple cables, increases and decreases. Cables are charted and written.

MATERIALS
Yarn: 240 yds [220 m] Worsted weight
Samples knit in Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok in the color 1319 Quartz Crystal (used about 90 g or 220 yds [200 m]) and Berroco Vintage in the color 5162 Envy (used about 105 g or 230 yds [210 m]).
Needles: Size US 7 [4.50 mm] circular needle (or size needed to get gauge), Size US 6 [4.00 mm] circular needle for ribbing
Notions: Stitch marker, tapestry needle
