Santa Claus is coming to town! Make this Santa hat crochet garland and take your holiday decorations to the next level. You can make it as long or as short as you need and it can decorate your staircase or fireplace. You can customise it by changing the yarn colour to fit your décor or by adding beads, jingle bells or pompons.
This pattern uses a number of beginner and intermediate crochet stitches, including: the single crochet, the front and back post double crochet, the half double crochet and the half double slip stitch. Each Santa hat measures approximately 3.5 inches and 2.5 inches at its widest point. Gauge is not paritcularly important for this pattern as long as you keep the same tension. For reference, 1 inch square is made of 5 HDCs over 3 rows.
