I call this bag Sawbones because it reminds me of the shape of those cool old doctor bags. Sawbones is an affectionate old fashioned nickname for doctors.
The bag measures 5.5 inches tall by 12 inches long at the top. The bottom measures 9 inches by 12 inches. There are directions in the pattern for how to make it larger, and keep in mind that you will need more yarn if you choose to make a larger bag.
