Product Details
The inspiration for Seaboard came from a couple of sources. My passion for the Arts & Crafts Movement and the fashion of the 1920's/30's were leading factors for the design. I knew that I wanted to incorporate i-cords into the design and, after perusing many books and sources relating to the movement, I began playing around with design ideas and this is what happened.... While this design was taking shape, I was further inspired by the ongoing debate regarding climate change, considering the implications of rising seas and what this will mean to those living in coastal areas around the world. This was almost certainly influenced by the name and shade of the yarn I used for the sample. The name Seaboard seemed apt.
