Seasons of Persephone is constructed using Elizabeth Zimmerman's Pi formula and is available as both a circular and a half circle shawl.

Shawl is written for Nupps or Eyelets or Beads, if you bead, you will also need: A crochet hook small enough to fit through the beads and size 8/0 seed beads. Border: 400 beads for half circle, 750 for full circle. Chart B: 60 for half circle and 110 for full circle.
Yardage requirements will vary depending on gauge, the number of repeats of Chart D and if nupps are worked.
Gauge listed is for prototype shawl. You will probably need 600 to 1000 yards for a half circle and 1000 to 2000 for a full circle.
Prototype half circle shawl used 820 yards at 5 stitches per inch unblocked, with 6 repeats of Chart D and a nupped border.
