Product Details
Inspired by the Hobbits’ way of life, this cardigan is the epitome of coziness, with its beautiful shawl collar, textured pockets and faux elbow patches. A baby/child version of this design, Elevenses, is also available in my store.
This cardigan is worked top-down, seamlessly and features knit-in pockets. The sleeves are separated from the body at underarm level. The body is continued flat, the sleeves are worked in the round, with “faux” elbow patches. Stitches are picked up along the fronts and the neckline to work the shawl collar and button bands in one piece, using German short rows (link to video tutorial in the pattern). The pocket linings require some seaming.
