Product Details
As a scuba diver, I am inspired by the elegance of sharks and their history. In this shawl, waves and dorsal fins combine to form a pattern - sometimes in calm waters, sometimes in rough sea. I knitted my first shawl in this pattern many years ago when I was getting my scuba diving certification.
Adventurous beginners welcome: knit, purl, k2tog, yo plus increases with a crochet hook (video link included - you will get a unique wavy border with this method!).
Size can be easily adjusted by knitting more or less pattern sets. The shawl is reversible. Chart and written instructions in English and German.
Construction: Knitted from the right tip to the left side panel in staircase shape using Staircase Increases Method (SIM). Increases are added with a crochet hook after each pattern set (12 rows).
To achieve a better 3D effect, the shawl is not blocked.
Make a Cordie for your new shawl. A video link is included!
