Product Details

I'm lucky enough to live close to Artesano's headquarters so when it came to choosing a yarn for this pattern I couldn't resist the opportunity to have a look around their warehouse. Their Definition sock yarn comes in a fantastic range of solid colours which are perfect for colourwork and I jumped at the opportunity to design a pattern to use it. The sample is knit in Crocodile and Mushy Peas.

This is a fun, toe-up pattern in a stranded design, suitable for both men and women. The instructions for the construction of the socks are all written, the colourwork pattern is only charted.

Sizes (measured around mid-foot)

Small - to fit foot size 6.5 - 7.5" (16.5 - 19cm)

Medium - to fit foot size 8 - 9" (20.25 - 22.75cm)

Large - to fit foot size 9.5 - 10.5" (24 - 26.75cm)

Gauge = 9spi, 10rpi, measured over both colourwork and stocking stitch, though you may need different needle sizes to achieve the same gauge.
