Sille is a traditional danish tie shawl of scarf that will drape gracefully around the shoulders.
Sille is worked in one piece from buttom to top.
The pattern includes directions for knitting this shawl in Small, Medium and Large. Width at top edge: 145 (180, 215) centimeters, Height: 48 (60, 72) centimeters.
The pattern is written for a knitter who is able to, follow written instructions as well as follow a chart and work increases and decreases. (The directions is a combination of written instructions and chart).
This pattern calls for a yarn with a yardage of approximately 300 meters per 100 grams. Size medium pictured in hand dyed (natural dye) 100% merino with a yardage of 300 meters per 100 grams (Chester Wool Company).
