Knitting this simple raglan from my fingering weight leftovers (held double throughout) was like walking down the memory lane of my knitting life! So fun and emotional … I wear it rs-out or ws-out according to my mood
Pick and sort your fingering weight leftovers and apply the suggested colorplay as you go.
This sweater is worked seamlessly in rounds, in one piece from the top-down in Stockinette Stitch with 2 threads of fingering weight yarn held together throughout. Beginning with the collar, the neck is then shaped by short rows and the yoke is worked by raglan increases down to the sleeve separation. The sleeve stitches are placed on hold, underarm stitches cast on, and then work the body to the bottom ribbing. The sleeve stitches are placed back onto the needles to work in Stockinette stitch in the round.
No weaving in of ends required!
Intended to be worn with approx. 12—16 cm (4.75—6.25”) of positive ease. (Sample shown in Size 3 with 16 cm (6.25”) of positive ease)
