Sith Shawl Fairy Mohair

The Sidhe/Sith Shawl (pronounced Shee Shawl) is a one-armed shawl inspired by the opulent wraps of the 1920’s and 30’s. The sleeve and armscye is shaped so that the seam lies under the arm. As such, this is a right hand sleeve. You can make a left hand sleeve by swapping the knit side for the purl side, effectively knitting it “inside out.” The sleeve is long and slouchy, with a shaped cuff covering the hand top the knuckles.

The bobbles are completely free form. You place them wherever and whenever you like on the knit side. There is no “mistake” to be made because there is no rigid pattern being formed to make a “missing” bobble obvious.
