This is a pdf knitting pattern, written in English, using standard US terminology, for you to knit a DK weight Sleepy Hat / Stocking Cap photo prop.
This hat is one that I consider to be a prop staple and a wonderful addition to your prop stash. I believe it works beautifully for both boys and girls. Please always remember to use this prop with supervision.
SIZES: Preemie, 18" Doll, Newborn, 0-3 Months, 3-6 Months, 6-9 Months and 9-12 Months.

This pattern is well-suited to both a beginner knitter and an intermediate knitter as I have included instructions to knit flat or to knit in the round.
It requires DK weight yarn on 4mm (US6) needles. You will need to know how to cast on and off, knit, purl, and knit two stitches together.
