Product Details
The slow lorises are nocturnal primates that make up a genus of eight recognized species, all found in Southeast Asia. They are true acrobats, applying their four limbs to swing and sway from tree to tree. Slow lorises are rare mammals, unfortunately all species listed as endangered. So, add to the worlds loris population by knitting this captivating creature in existence!
This model measures 16 cm from rear end to snout and was made on 2.5 mm double pointed needles (UK 12) in scraps of brown and beige yarns. Adding a strand of mohair to your base yarn will give your loris a cute, fluffy look. It is a medium project with some round knitting, color work, wrap and turns and short rows and redistributing of stitches between needles, all is explained comprehensively in the text and illustrated by schematics.
