I specialize in designs for Beginner knitters. The sweater uses slip stitches, is knitted flat and seamed, however, I provide options for the more advanced or adventurous knitter. 1. For those who would like to knit the ribbed collar in-the-round, I provide optional instructions for doing this on 3 double-pointed needles, then proceeding to knit the rest of the garment flat on straight needles. 2. For those who want to knit the ribbed sleeves in-the-round on double-pointed needles, the pattern is written for this ... BUT ... I include instructions for knitting the ribbed sleeves flat on straight needles, then seamed. 3. For those who prefer not to knit the ribbed sleeves at all, I provide instructions for doing a crochet edge around the armhole.
