The 2021 version of this pattern features snow globes on both the front and palm side of the mitten and the mittens can be worn interchangeably. The 2022 version has designated left and right mitten, and the patterning on the palm is different from the front.
Materials• US Size 0 (2mm) set of dpns or circular needles (for Magic Loop method) US size 00 (1.75mm) for ribbing (optional) • Fingering weight yarn (I used Knit Picks Stroll Solids, Glimmer, and Tonal) – 231y/50 g (211m/50g). 2-color version: Background Color (BC) – 131 y (120 m), Contrast Color 1 (CC) – 131 y (120 m). 3-color version: Background Color (BC) – 120 y (110 m), Contrast Color 1 (CC) – 120 y (110 m), Contrast Color 2 (CC2) – 27 y ( 25 m), small scraps of yellow for windows and the moon (optional) • Tapestry needle for adding details in duplicate stitch (optional)
Gauge: 9 stitches and 13 rows = 1 x 1 inches in stranded pattern knit in the round
