Product Details
This is a detailed written knitting pattern for cute Snowman Booties suitable for babies up to 12 months, the pattern includes row by row instructions and photos to help you along the way!
The booties are worked in garter stitch with a stocking stitch instep and a garter stitch or ribbed fold back cuff. The nose and scarf are knit separately and added upon completion along with the duplicate stitch ‘buttons’. The eyes are added using beads, small buttons or sewn on with straight stitches. The booties are knit flat on two needles with a sole and back seam.
Yarn Notes: I used Sirdar Snuggly dk (55% nylon, 45% acrylic - approx 175m/191yds per 50g ball) and Sirdar Hayfield Bonus Toytime dk (100% acrylic – approx. 70m/77yds per 25g ball) for Black and Orange. Suggested shades: White (MC), Sweet Pea (Green), Flamenco (Red), Black and Bright Orange. Yarn amounts: 25[35:45]g in (MC), 10[20:30]g in (Black, Green and Red), a small amount in Orange for nose.
