Snugly Sheep Baby Blanket

This sheep themed baby blanket is knit using garter stitch borders, with a stocking stitch background and moss/seed stitch for the sheep motifs. The sheep motifs stand out well on the stocking stitch background, which is referred to as the right side, although the blanket is reversible!

Sizing : 74cm/29in wide, 112cm/44in long. The blanket has 6 rows of sheep with 4 sheep in each row. The blanket can be made wider by increasing the number of sheep ‘block’ repeats and can be made longer by increasing the number of rows of sheep blocks. In the same way the blanket can be made smaller by using less pattern repeats in the width and length. Remember you will need more/less yarn if the size is changed.

NOTE: If you are making this blanket and my Snugly Sheep Cushion Cover using Cascade Pacific yarn, you will need 5 balls in MC, 2 balls in CC1 and 1 ball in CC2.
