Sofia the Star Pillow

I made this pillow for my granddaughter Sofia’s first birthday. I decided on the star shape because it’s easy for little hands to grasp, and it’s adorable! My pattern is a little different than most in that you don’t have to keep re-attaching the yarn to make the points - they’re crocheted right onto the body almost like a border. It’s mostly repetition, and I think even a beginner could do it. The pillow measures 14 3/4” from point to point, and you will need one skein of Lion Brand Baby Soft in Pansy, and one skein in Pastel Yellow or Lemonade, plus some black yarn for the optional embroidery of the face.
