Stay cosy in style with my crochet cable hairband!
It's really easy to make this hairband, thanks to my detailed Row-by-Row Photo Guide that shows you exactly how to work the cable pattern.
Designed for intermediate crocheters, the pattern uses front post and back post stitches, which are crossed over to form the cable pattern. It will help if you can already work post stitches – if not, they're very simple to learn and lots of guides with photos are included. This A4 pdf pattern includes UK crochet terms and US crochet separately.
Finished hairband measures approx 7cm wide and 55cm circumference.
To make the hairband, you need a warm, fairly stretchy aran yarn. I used Drops Air Mix (70% alpaca, 23% polyamide, 7% wool, 50g/130m), 1 ball of 04 Medium Grey.
A chunky hairband is a must-have for winter, to keep you feeling warm and looking stylish. A simple cable pattern is a classic decoration for a cosy feel.

- Tension: 20 sts and 9 rows to measure 10x10cm using 5mm hook. Matching this tension is not vital but you may need more yarn if your tension is looser.
