Product Details
Sommernat is the Danish word for “summer night”. Sommernat is a square baby blanket or lap blanket with a wide lace edge.
The pattern includes directions for one size 105 x 105 centimeters after blocking.
The middle of the blanket is worked back and forth while the lace edge is worked in the round. The pattern is written for a knitter who is able to follow written instructions as well as follow a lace chart and work increase and decrease. (Direction is a combination of chart and written text).
This pattern calls for a yarn with a gauge of 22 stitches per 10 centimeters, i.e. a yardage of approximately 125 meters per 50 grams. Pictured in recycled cotton - Drops Loves you 9 - 125 meters per 50 grams.
Materials: yarn, circular knitting needle and yarn needle for weaving in ends.
The pattern does not include finished items yarn etc. The pattern only includes instruction for knitting the blanket.
