Product Details
Splat is a groovy and fun summer wrap, knit with “swoosh” shaping, ruffles, and eyelets between blocks of squishy garter stitch. It’s knit from tip to tip with simple shaping and dramatic color pops to make the most of your bright summer yarn.
While the pattern suggests a heavier yarn, this could be made in any yarn weight simply by increasing or decreasing repeats of the sections. In the same vein, the size of the overall wrap can be increased or decreased the same way. As written, it is one size only.
If using the suggested yarn, blocking is not necessary. The sample was knit without blocking. If you choose to block, do note that your project may block out slightly bigger.
You will need a U.S. 8/5.0mm circular needle, preferably with at least a 24” cable. You will also need a yarn needle for weaving in the ends.
