This basket, in all variations, is really fun to make! It's made in Red Heart Super Saver which is perfect for baskets. Stripes make it a good stash buster project and the pattern works with almost any worsted weight yarn, but avoid very soft yarns or the basket might not keep its shape. The pattern has detailed instructions in the format of a photo tutorial for each step. Although it is listed as intermediate skill, an experienced beginner would find it helpful to learn new techniques and should do fine. The pattern includes instructions and photos for the basket pictured in the top large photo as well as for the alternate stripe pattern shown, alternate handle instructions, and 3 ways to make the optional flower applique. This versatile and fun pattern gives you lots of choices and is really multiple patterns in one! It's perfect for an Easter basket, or a gift basket, as well as a container for a plant, and many other uses.
