Product Details
I designed this cowl to be a nice introduction to mosaic crochet for anyone who’d like to give it a go before trying a large project like a blanket. The cowl is made in the inset mosaic crochet technique. It is an attractive design of rectangles which are reminiscent of a brick wall. I have made it in both a bright combination of colours and in a more muted, neutral palette. Both versions are look lovely; I hope you will be able to whip one up to keep you cosy.
The pattern includes lots of useful info on how to crochet in the inset mosaic technique and there are several close-up photos to assist you.
I used Deramores Studio DK yarn
Bright version shades = 1 ball each of Citrine, Peony and Malachite
Neutral version shades = 1 ball each of Storm Cloud, Rosé and Frost
However, any DK yarn will do - for example Stylecraft Special DK. I have tried to match the shades used in the bright version and these are listed in the materials list.
The pattern is written in UK terms.
