Product Details
These two patterns are a lovely set and fairly simple and easy to follow.
I used a soft and cosy yarn from Katia. You can use any chunky / bulky yarn you like.
Both the hat and the cowl are knitted flat on two needles and both are joined/weaved together at the back.
You need to know basic stitches, cast/bind on and off, knit, purl and how to do cable. However it is not too difficult even if it is your first time doing cable.
**The pattern gives full, easy to follow written instructions in English with both British and American terms. **
This item knits up quickly so you won’t need to wait long before you can enjoy wearing it or being able to give it as a gift. Great to keep you cosy and warm on a stormy winter’s day.
Hat size: The rib and cable mean that the hat is designed to fit a normal size adult (unisex) with a head circumference of between 57cm/22.5in upto 61cm/24in. The cowl size is its measurement before being joined together.
