Product Details
A luxurious, drop shoulder pullover with textured details and long, gently rounded sleeves. The unusual construction method keeps the knitting interesting and makes the depth of the v-neck easily customisable to your style.
Gauge (after blocking):
17 stitches & 24 rows = 4" / 10 cm in St st with US 8 (5 mm) needle
Construction:
Sweater is knitted seamlessly and flat (like a cardigan), bottom up. The fronts are separated from back and worked separately, then the back is worked and joined at the shoulders to the fronts. Shoulders are shaped with short rows. A band is picked up around the fronts and back neck, then partially joined from hem to the start of the v-neck with a Modified Three Needle Bind-Off, thus seaming the pullover shut. Remaining stitches are bound off individually to form the neck opening. Sleeves are picked up from armholes and knitted down in the round.
