Supplies: *sport (cotton) yarn in colors of your choice and a 3mm/(UK11) (US 10/3) hook; I was aiming at a floral lariat, hence the foundation is green and I used various variegated yarn for the flowers. * tapestry needle for weaving ends, and scissors. Stitches: chain (ch), chain space (ch-sp), skip (sk), slip stitch (sl st), single crochet (sc), half double crochet (hdc), double crochet (dc), treble (tr). American terminology used. Measurements of finished lariat: maker’s wish. The one in this tutorial is about 3 m long.
