A brioche-style design and contrasting yarn colours give this sunglasses case its crisp vertical stripes. Combine front post double crochet and single crochet stitches (U.S.) to create a dense, protective case which looks great too!
Written in English, the PDF includes both U.S. and U.K. terms versions of the pattern. This pattern features comprehensive photo tutorials & links to video clips to demonstrate techniques. The Summer Stripes Sunglasses Case is suitable for experience levels from confident beginners up, no prior experience using brioche techniques needed.
You will need:
-approx 92m/102yds of DK (light worsted/#3) yarn in two contrasting colours. I used 32g Yarnsmiths Pebble Haze & Pebble Haze Prints DK (67% cotton/ 33% acrylic, 145m/159yds per 50g) in Saltburn/Limestone & Lulworth/Marble.
-4mm hook
-1 x 14mm button (optional)
The finished sunglasses case measures approx 9.5cm wide & 17cm long; size can be adjusted to make larger versions such as a tablet or e-reader case.
