Product Details
The Sunday Afternoon Cardigan is worked bottom-up, back and forth from hem to armholes, then divided for fronts and back and worked separately to the shoulders. After the shoulders have been seamed, stitches are picked up for the front bands and neckband, which are worked using applied double knitting. Working the front edges and neckband before the sleeves will allow you to try on the cardigan without the edges curling in. At last, sleeve stitches are picked up around the armholes and worked in the round down to the slightly gathered cuffs.
The pattern includes both written and charted directions.
