These socks are knitted in the round from the cuff down. I was inspired by the “deathflake” chart that’s popular on Ravelry, and decided to put my kids’ favorite emoji into a traditional Norwegian snowflake pattern. The socks do look attractive from the front and back. I selected a square (Dutch) heel, a narrow foot, and a wedge shaped toe, but you can, of course, alter the shaping as you see fit.
