Product Details
This is the boy's version of the male sweater design Svend.
Svend is a sweater/pullover knitted from the bottom edge and up with a 2-color all over pattern. The sweater has long set in sleeves and traditional rib edges. The pattern is made for at yarn with a gauge of 18 stitches per 10 centimeters (2-color stranded knitting) i.e. a yardage of approximately 90 meters per 50 grams.
The pattern includes directions for a size 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 years with a chest width of 70, 79, 86, 94, 101 and 110 centimeters and a length of 43, 46, 51, 54, 57 and 61 centimeters. Size 6 years pictured in yarn from Sandnes.
The pattern is written for a knitter who is able to follow charts as well as written instructions, make increases and decreases, pick up stitches and work in 2-color stranded knitting in the round as well as back and forth. (Directions is a combination of charts and written text).
