Product Details
Inspired by the beauty of Californian sycamores, this cardigan is similarly simple, but stands out thanks to its textured details. Wide sleeves, straight lines and a bit of positive ease make this sweater a great layering piece, while fitted cuffs and worsted weight yarn will keep the wearer warm and cozy.
Sycamore Cardigan is knit seamless from the top down with saddle shoulders and dropped sleeves. The button band is worked at the same time with the body. Lines of seed stitch run from the collar over the shoulders and onto the balloon shaped sleeves, which are also embellished with Estonian braids and two types of nupps (video tutorials linked). Sycamore can be worn as a classic cardigan or buttoned as a pullover.
