The main part of the tea cosy is the cats bodies. Each cat body is knitted separately so there is not tricky working from charts, there is just strip work. In a similar fashion the heads are worked individually too and sewn together. This also means that you could make both cats stripy or both cats plain, so they can be tailored to look like any two cats.
The cats are sat looking away from one another, I thought this would be nice because it means that the tea cosy doesn't have a front or back.
