Taimana Cowl

I always find I gravitate toward cowls when I’m looking to knit something to warm my neck. They’re really easy to wear, over a shirt or under a jacket with few adjustments. I’ve included some decreases in the last few sections to help keep the cowl close to the neck. I love the vintage look of this cowl and hope you do too. Taimana being the Māori language translation for Diamonds which I’ve featured throughout.

This cowl is worked in the round from the bottom up on circular needles. Decreases are included after the Diamond section to bring the cowl closer to the neck. Along with written instructions, charts for lace sections are included.
