Product Details
Another design in my Teakwood series! This cable and lace pattern is quite addictive, it is easy to memorize and oh so much fun to work. The bulky gauge makes for a very quick knit, you can have this done before the end of Winter and also use it as a Spring jacket. The body is worked from the bottom up, the sleeve stitches are picked up and worked down in the round, the only seaming is at the shoulders and back of the collar. I used 3-ply Heavy Fisherman Weight by Beaverslide Dry Goods, 90% merino with 10% kid mohair, in Dark Natural Gray Heather. This yarn has a Z ply which gives the finished cable and lace pattern its distinctive look. The substitute yarn suggested has the more common S ply which will have an effect on the finished fabric. Take time to save time, check your gauge.
