Product Details
Designed to be worn for at least three seasons, the children's sized Anne Sweater is the perfect layering piece to extend the wear of summer dresses into the early spring and late fall.
This pattern is intermediate level, but could also be appropriate for confident beginners who wish to level up their skills. The sweater is worked from the top down, then the front and back are knit flat before joining in the round and knitting to the desired length. The set in sleeves are constructed from the top down using German Short Rows and simple increases to make the puffs.
For added structure, the rolled neckline is picked up and knit at the end, but can be added to the cast on if one desires a stretchier neckline.
The sweater can be knit in wool or cotton, and includes instructions for full length as well. The pattern includes links to videos of sweater construction, as well as photos of the sweater in progress so you will know just what to do--no guesswork involved.
