The Ebbing Tide shawlette

A fun shawlette to remind you of summer at the beach … a romantic walk along the wet sand … the moonlit ocean … the tide slowly receding to leave traces of water behind.

This shawlette starts at the top with a garter-tab, progresses thru alternating stripes of garter and stockinette and ends with a graceful wave-lace pattern. Blocking makes this shawl pop!

Directions are charted and row-by-row for this shawlette that uses two colors (about 140 yards of each) of fingering-weight fiber; sample used one skein each of Spring Gate Farm’s Cashmere Silk Merino blend in Sable and Lapis Lazuli. I used just about all the yarn of both skeins, so if you are a loose knitter, you may require a bit more yardage.
