Product Details
The Firth Hat 2.0 is named after Firth, Idaho. There's a lot of farming that happens in that country, and the sand cables of the hat are reminiscent of wheat and barley ears. The hat is made by first creating the folded brim, then moving on to the cabling of the main body. It is a good pattern for those beginners who want to start cables for the first time.
The pattern is for a one-size-fits-all hat, but instructions are given on how to reduce or increase the size of the hat to whatever you need. The given pattern is about a S/M adult size.
This pattern is advanced beginner. You will need to know how to knit in the round on circular needles, and how to knit and purl. Instructions are given on how to complete the cables.
