The Forester Hat is a clever and easy way to make the most of the beautiful colorways of Lion Brand Mandala yarn. Requires less than one cake of dk yarn and the simplest of stitches. The technique in this pattern creates a lovely woven effect.
This is an intermediate pattern that requires, chain, slip stitch, and single crochet (US) stitches. Pattern uses US terms and US and metric measurements are given.
Pattern has three sizes: child, teen/adult (pictured), and large adult. Child: 53.5 cm around, 20.5 cm tall to fit heads about 50.5-56 cm in diameter. Teen/adult: 56 cm around, 23 cm tall to fit heads about 53.5-58.5 cm in diameter. Large adult: 58.5 cm around, 25.5 cm tall to fit heads about 56-61 cm in diameter when using Lion Brand Mandala dk weight yarn and a 2.25 mm hook.
