This cardigan will make a great gift for anyone or for yourself. It can be made with or with out the hood.
This cardigan is knit from the bottom up in pieces and seamed. Designed with a positive ease of approx. 6-10 inches. Circumference measured with cardigan flat on a table at chest after blocking.
Pictured size 8/10 years with 8 inches positive ease and size 5/7 years with 6 inches positive ease.
You will need:
Yarn - NAKO Spaghetti (25% wool, 75% acrylic) [100g/66 yards (60 m)] per skein.
Gauge: U.S. 15 (10.0 mm) - 9.5 sts x 11 rows = 4x4 square in stockinette
U.S. 15 (10.0 mm) - 9.5 sts x 18 rows = 4x4 square in Garter st.
or Any super bulky weight yarn size 6.
Note: If necessary, adjust needle size to obtain accurate gauge.
