Product Details
The ‘Nooch is the local nickname for the Wynoochee (Y-NOO-chee) River which wends its way from the Olympic National Park down to the Chehalis River and then out to the Pacific Ocean. These cowls blend the colors of the Olympic rain forest—the fog, clear waters, and deep shadows—using variations of garter slip stitches. One version of the cowl is knit in the round, the other is knit end to end, joined with Kitchener stitch, and buttons are added for fun and contrast.
With 200 yards of each of three colors you can make both versions of the cowl. The cowls in the pictures were made with Jorstad Creek Yarns Glacier Creek.
